IM GETTING TIRED OF PEOPLE PUTTING COMMENTS ON MY BLOG,AND NOT PUTTING THEIR NAMES TO THEM.
WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thought that would have been quite obvious Andy, they are afraid of the Lethbridge Mafia that are the Foder family. If you haven't experienced it already then you will.
I daresay the "anon" after my last comment on tripacs/night heaters was because the guy might still be with H&R. It does seem to me these tripacs are a waste of space. Bob the dog has 2 separate heaters, one for the cab & one for the engine to heat it before starting. I find this "no idling" policy incedible in winter if the tripac doesn't work. Mindless stupidity. I was advised by the Norwegian police to park in a town once in the middle of February, I was in the north of Norway (temp was -42 degC). They often run trucks all night up there. Look out for yourself Andy, you'll have it all to come in the new year. You need a back up heater if the tripac goes down.. Have you tried idling ar say 1000rpm? There must be a point when the electronics won't shut the engine down.
Alan, even the bunk heater will stop working as the the temperatures get to extreme lows and the only way to stay alive is keeping the truck idling and this in turn stops your deisel gelling up as the hot unused fuel is returned to the tanks.
